Administrator platform overview
Administrators configure and govern MeridiaCare AI across one or many campuses. This overview connects the major admin surfaces and points to detailed setup guides.
Admin home
Admin (`/admin`) is the control center for platform configuration:
- Campus structure and assignments
- User and role management
- System settings and integrations
- Enterprise features (contracts, SLA, SOC 2 roadmap)
Sign in with an account that has `admin.read` or higher.
Multi-campus operations
Use the campus selector to switch context. Most admin screens operate on the active campus only.
Corporate and portfolio users with multi-campus access can:
- View cross-campus dashboards
- Clone configuration between campuses
- Manage organization-wide provider types and GL codes
See Implementation & campus setup for the recommended rollout workflow.
User access and roles
Admin → Users manages staff accounts:
| Persona | Typical access | |---------|----------------| | Caregiver | Today, residents, eMAR | | Nurse | Dashboard, clinical, medications | | Billing | Billing module, configuration | | Admin | Full platform configuration | | Corporate | Multi-campus dashboards and enterprise |
Assign users to specific campuses to enforce minimum necessary access.
Enterprise features
For multi-org SaaS and enterprise contracts, open Admin → System → Enterprise (`/admin/system/enterprise`):
- Tenant isolation — verify row-level organization scoping
- Contracts & SLA — uptime targets and support response SLAs
- Dedicated infrastructure — deployment model (shared, dedicated, VPC)
- SOC 2 roadmap — control implementation progress
Public status is available at status.meridiacareai.com (maps to `/status` on the marketing site).
Integrations
Key integration surfaces:
- Public API — keys and webhooks for custom integrations
- QuickBooks Online — accounting sync
- Pharmacy interfaces — eMAR order flow
- Family portal — resident family access
Configure integrations per organization policy; test in a sandbox campus before production.
Security and compliance
- Role-based permissions on every API route
- PHI access audit logging
- Encryption in transit (TLS) — at-rest encryption per hosting policy
- HIPAA-aligned operational controls (see security documentation)
Run periodic access reviews and remove inactive accounts.
Platform health
Monitor operational status:
- Status page — API, staff app, database, family portal, integrations
- Enterprise SLA snapshots for contracted uptime
Report incidents through your account manager or support channel.
